Status:
This
displays
the
status
of
the
discrete
input
as
driven
by
the
modem
firmware.
The
modem
will
drive
the
output
to
Ground
when
directed.
A
pull
‐
up
resistor
is
required
on
the
connected
device
in
order
to
ensure
the
connected
device
senses
a
“high”
when
the
modem
is
set
to
provide
the
“Not_Ground”
setting.
Output
Function:
a)
Ground
if
PPP
UP
–
When
chosen,
the
modem
will
drive
the
output
to
“Ground”
when
the
PPP
connection
is
UP.
If
PPP
is
DOWN,
the
Not_Ground
setting
will
be
output.
b)
Not
Ground
if
PPP
UP
–
When
chosen,
the
modem
will
drive
the
output
to
“Ground”
when
the
PPP
connection
is
DOWN.
If
PPP
is
UP,
the
Not_Ground
setting
will
be
output.

Follow

–
This

status
setting
–
it
cannot
be
selected
