LOGGING
The
Logging
page
provides
a
way
to
capture
the
current
status
log
of
the
modem.
Such
a
log
may
be
useful
to
CalAmp
Technical
Services
personnel
to
help
resolve
operational
problems.

INFORMATION
Version:
Displays
the
modem
firmware
version
currently
loaded
in
the
unit.
Kernel
Date:
Displays
the
date
of
the
operating
system
kernel
the
unit
is
running.

Auto
‐
Logging:
Selecting
Enable
and
pressing
Save
will
enable
the
logging
capability
which
saves
periodic
and
event
driven
logs
to
permanent
memory.
Technical
Services
personnel
may
find
such
logs
useful
in
analyzing
field
issues.
Selecting
Disable
and
pressing
Save
will
disable
the
logging
capability.
This
is
the
default
setting.
To
make
best
use
of
available
memory
it
is
recommended
to
only
enable
the
logging
capability
if
it
is
necessary
to
help
diagnose
an
issue.
