1.2 Conventions
The conventions adopted all through this guide are briefly listed in the following.
1.2.1 Safety

The user is requested to pay particular attention to the parts of the document containing
the following terms:
WARNING:
Warning statements identify conditions or practices that could result in injury or
loss of life.
CAUTION:
Caution statements identify conditions or practices that could result in damage to
this product or other property.
Please pay particular attention to the grey areas where warning and caution statements
are emphasised, as shown in the following examples:

1.2.2 Electrical
signal specifications
The polarity of the electrical signals can be chosen via software by the user. As a
consequence, in this guide the following convention has been adopted:
TRUE: an electrical signal is indicated as TRUE when it is active.
FALSE: an electrical signal is indicated as FALSE when it is not active.
