Starting the Simulator

WARNING:

If the support and maintenance agreement for the simulator has expired, the auto updates

are not available. It is important to maintain an active agreement with CAE Healthcare to ensure that
the simulator receives the most recent updates as they become available. Contact your CAE Healthcare
representative for more information.

Step 3: Calibrate the Probe

After the system loads and the display is configured, the Probe Calibration screen appears.

The Probe Calibration Screen

To calibrate the probe:

a. Ensure the probe is properly positioned on the mannequin’s abdomen.

The top of the probe should be pointing towards the upper torso of the
mannequin.

For the male mannequin, place the probe over the belly button on the
abdomen. For the female mannequin, place the probe just below the belly
button.

b. Press any key on the keyboard to calibrate the probe.

Step 4: Accept License Agreement

After the probe is calibrated, the License Agreement screen appears.

Click the

Accept

button to accept the license agreement. The VIMEDIX interface appears.

IMPORTANT:

The user must accept the license agreement to use the software.
