Time and Date
Users can customize the system time and date in the Time and Date section of the Settings window.
Layout on start-up
The default screen layout on startup can be modified. To modify the default layout, in the Settings
window, from the
Layout on Start-up drop-down menu, select the desired layout.
Probe Type
The probe type can be selected from the Probe Type menu in the Settings window. By default, the
connected probe type is automatically selected.
Override Default Startup Values
The Override Default Startup Values checkbox can be used to enable modification of the gain,
contrast and depth of field values used upon simulator startup.
Gain, Contrast Depth of Field and Angle
To modify the gain, contrast and depth of field and angle settings used upon simulator startup:
1. In the Settings window, check the Override Default Startup Values box.
2. Use the arrows next to the Gain , Contrast , Depth of Field and Angle fields
to change the settings.
The selected settings are applied to the Ultrasound and AR displays each
time the simulator is started.
NOTE: The gain, contrast, depth of field and angle can be modified at any time from the Ultrasound
panel under the Settings section using the Depth of Field , Contrast , Gain and Angle sliders. However,
each time the simulator is restarted, the gain, contrast, depth of field and angle revert to the default
settings or the settings specified in the Settings window.
