Step 11. Set ATM traffic descriptor parameter 3.
This section describes how to set the third traffic parameter for this traffic descriptor. Traffic Parameter 3
is used to determine the Maximum Burst Size (MBS) that this traffic descriptor will use. Refer to
Figure 15
.

used to access this command (1.3.6.1.2.1.37.1.5.1.5).

CAUTION
Depending on the Traffic Descriptor Type selected, the user MUST assign values to the
applicable number of parameters required by the traffic descriptor type. For example,
this traffic descriptor type, “atmNoCpScr” requires parameters 1 through 3 to be
configured. If these parameters are not set, the traffic descriptor will NOT operate
properly. Refer back to
Table 8
for a list of how many parameters each traffic descriptor
requires, and what each parameter configures.
