SCANNER BOARDS

Each addition of a Scanner Board increases the test point capacity by 128 points. Additional
Scanner Boards may be installed without requiring system reprogramming.

EXPANSION CHASSIS

The Expansion Chassis is required when the systems point requirement exceeds 2048 test points.
An additional 16 scanner boards may be added in the Expansion Chassis for a total of 4096 test
points.

LAMP DRIVER (OPTIONAL)

The Lamp Driver Chassis is connected by cable to the Main Chassis. Lamp Drivers with 128 or
254 drivers are available. The lamp drivers drive 5 volt lamps installed on the interconnect
fixture to aid in locating connections or routing paths.

PRINTER (OPTIONAL)

The printer produces hardcopy record of test results, wire list programs, system setup
parameters, user notation assignments, and lamp driver assignments.

TERMINAL PORT

The Terminal Port enables an optional PC running a terminal emulation program or Cablescan
software to enable keyboard entry of wire list (in lieu of learning by scanning a known good) and
control commands (in lieu of switch selection on the Control Head).
