2.3.2 Sealing Systems
Sealing systems prevent the process gas going to the bearings chambers.
The machine is equipped with oil lubricated single mechanical seal with labyrinth seal on
the motor side and oil lubricated single mechanical seal with lip seal on the suction side.
2.4 Standard Accessories
2.4.1 Resistance Thermometer
The resistance thermometer monitors the exhaust gas temperature. It can be installed at
two different places depending on the ATEX classification.
If a resistance thermometer is necessary to monitor the exhaust gas temperature, it may
be installed in either the exhaust outlet flange of the pump or in a suitable prepared ex-
haust spool piece at a distance of < 100 mm from the pump outlet.
2.4.2 Vibration Analysis System
The machine must be stopped when the vibration limit value (preset at the factory) is
reached, see
Wiring Diagram Vibration Sensor [ ► 19]

The vibration analysis system monitors the correct mechanical operation of the machine.
This unit is composed of a vibration sensor (SA) and a transmitter (delivered loose).
2.4.3 Level Switch
The level switch (LS-/0201) detects oil leakage from the gearbox.
The level switch (LS+/0202) detects process leaks into the gearbox.
2.4.4 Pressure Transmitter
The pressure transmitter monitors the gas pressure at the discharge connection (OUT).
Warning and trip signals must be set, see Wiring Diagram Pressure Transmitter.
2.5 Optional Accessories
2.5.1 Resistance Thermometer
The resistance thermometer can be installed to monitor the cooling liquid temperature.
2.5.2 Terminal Box
The machine can be optionally equipped with a terminal box. All electrical devices, ex-
cept the motor, are already wired to the terminal box.
