Before the battery is removed or inserted, switch off
the battery and the drive system.
Risk of fire and explosion due to high temperatures
Excessively high temperatures will damage the
battery. The battery may self-ignite and explode.
Never expose the battery to sustained direct
sunlight.
Fire and explosion caused by short circuit
Small metal objects may jumper the electrical
connections of the battery. The battery may self-ignite
and explode.
Keep paper clips, screws, coins, keys and other
small parts away and do not insert them into the
battery.
Fire and explosion caused by penetration by water
The battery is only protected from simple spray water.
Penetration by water can cause a short circuit. The
battery may self-ignite and explode.
Never immerse the battery in water.
If there is reason to believe that water may have
entered into the battery, the battery must be
removed from service.
If a key is left inserted when transporting the bicycle or
when riding, it may break off or the lock may open
accidentally.
Remove the key from the battery lock immediately
after use.
We recommend that you attach the key to a key
ring.
