8.4.2.5

Clamping version IV

Push the axle into the hub as far as it will go with 
the clamping lever open. 

Screw the clamping lever clockwise into the correct 
final position.

Clamp the clamping lever.

Setting the clamping force

If the clamping force is set too high, the clamping lever 
cannot be pushed into the closed final position. 

Turn the twist knob:

• Turn 1/8 turn anti-clockwise to reduce the clamping 

force.

• Turn 1/8 turn clockwise to increase the clamping force.

Clamp the clamping lever.

If the clamping lever is not yet in the proper final 
position, repeat the steps until the proper final 
position has been achieved.
