Do the same with the lower edge of the ATI hole measured from the lower edge of the
panel. We can use these temporary lines to line up the instrument we wish to insert.

You can now draw a construction line from the center of the instrument and then draw
offsets from that to place other instruments on the same vertical or horizontal
centerline. If you have two intersecting lines you can place an inserted instrument
(instruments have there 0,0 point in the center) by clicking mod>intersection or F6,
then clicking on the intersection of the two lines you want to place it on.
Another technique, to adjust an instrument so that it moves directly onto an existing
line, in the illustration below, we want to move the instrument so that it is directly on
the
vertical line. Click edit > move, click the instrument you want to move, right
click. It will ask where you want to move from. Hit F4 (center) then
click
on the circle that defines the instrument hole. You will be
asked where to move to. Hit the F6 key
(intersection). Click on the vertical line, then click
on the horizontal line that comprises the center
mark of the instrument. The instrument will
move from the center of the instrument to the
intersection of the vertical line and the horizontal
line of the center mark.
