Hot-Swap Hard Disk Drives

Note: Additional power and/or data cables may be included

with your system. In this case, store them in a safe place, you
will need them if you decide to add additional drives.

Removing and Replacing a Hot-Swap Hard Disk Drive

Open the drive bay access door.

Figure 70: Opening the Drive Bay Access Door

Press on the green latch at the front of the drive carrier (A).

Pull out on the black lever (B) to slide the drive carrier from the hot swap drive

cage.
