7. If
FTP dispatch mode
is selected, complete the
FTP Settings
fields with the following
information:

Password Declared authorized user password X
Passive mode FTP connection mode check box
8. If a modem connection is to be used:
a. From the PAP Unit Microsoft Windows desktop, configure the dial-up connection
(
Control Panel
→
Phone and Modem Options
).
b. From the PAM
Autocalls Control Pane
, select the
Use modem connection
checkbox.
c. Use the
Connection name
drop-down menu to select the required modem connection.
d. Complete the
User name
and
Password
fields with the declared authorized user name
and user password.
9. Return to the PAP Unit Microsoft Windows desktop to complete remote maintenance setup
as explained in the BULL Remote Maintenance Guide .

Connection of the USB modem required for the Autocall feature is explained in Connecting
the USB Modem and External Devices , on page 2-45.
