Flash EPROM:
Flash Erasable Programmable
Read-Only Memory. A type of memory device that
is used to store the the system firmware code. This
code can be replaced by an updated code from a
floppy disk, but is not lost when the computer is
powered off.
Firewall:
A set of related programs, located at a
network gateway server, that protects the resources
of a private network from users from other networks.
Firmware:
an ordered set of instructions and data
stored to be functionally independent of main
storage.
Format:
The process used to organize a hard or
floppy disk into sectors so that it can accept data.
Formatting destroys all previous data on the disk.

acts as their server for everyone on the Internet. It is
also commonly used to download programs and
other files from other servers.

History Manager:

hypertext-based files between local and remote
systems.
HW Identifier:
Number (0 - F) used to identify
Cellblock components. This number is identical to
PMB code-wheel position.
