Appendix C TCP/IP Settings

Mac OS X

To configure TCP/IP in Mac OS X, follow the procedure below.

Click [Apple menu] > [System Preferences…].

Click [Network].

Click [Ethernet].

To have DHCP set your IP address settings automatically, select [Using DHCP] in the Configure
IPv4 field.

To set your IP address settings manually, select [Manually] in the Configure IPv4 field, and
enter values for each setting. Example:.

If the router’s IP address is 192.168.11.1,

IP Address

192.168.11.80

Subnet Mask

255.255.255.0

Router

192.168.11.1

DNS Server

192.168.11.1

Search Domains

Click [Apply].
