GENERAL

Inspect rear shock absorber for proper operation and for oil
leaks. Inspect rubber shock eye bushings for deterioration:

At every 10,000 mile (16,000 km) service interval.

NOTE

See

Figure 1-25.

Damper component (3) cannot be serviced

or repaired. If the damper component is leaking or damaged
it must be replaced.
