Operating Sequences

The

SMART KTF 2000

terminal allows the following set of functions to be

carried out:

Univocal identification and configuration of each connected KTF/RW device.

Programming, modifying, controlling and storing the values related to the
different articles, by means of a database which can manage up to 99 different
articles.

!

Monitoring the operation of connected KTF/RW devices by signaling and
storing the technical faults

(if any)

, as well as performing the Learn functions.

"

Loading the article parameters on one or more connected KTF devices.

#

Performing Yarn, Tension, Speed and Consumption Measurements on one or
more connected KTF devices and displaying statistical graphics.

$

Setting, reading and clearing the amount of yarn to be used on winding
machines

(Target)

For REWIND

(typically when the KTF/RW systems are used )

 the main menu of

SMART KTF2000 terminal normally includes 4 items:

SETUP:

allows the completion of tasks

 and

WORK:

allows the completion of tasks

"

CONTR:

allows the completion of tasks

!

and

$

MEASUR:

allows the completion of tasks

#

The following operating sequences show how to activate the four items of the main
menu and how to choose the desired function within each item.
The following pages will describe in detail each task, providing all the necessary
information to correctly perform the tasks themselves.

When the main menu (P1) is active, if you press and hold the

  button, the

display shows the current application and the software version installed on
SMART KTF2000 terminal.
