Operation
SMART 200 TSS -3.15 -
Operating Sequences
The SMART 200 TSS system allows the following set of functions to be carried
out.
!
Univocal identification of each sensor by means of an automatic numbering
procedure.

Programming, modifying, controlling and saving the values related to the
different articles, by means of a database which can manage up to 40
different articles.

Monitoring of the machine operations by signalling and storing the failures
(if any) found by the sensors, printing production reports and performing the
Learn functions for TSQ operating mode.

Article loading/unloading (i.e. the settings related to the articles) into the
connected sensors and performing the Learn function for TSS operating
mode.

Graphical visualization of the tension detected by one or multiple sensors
(up to 16 simultaneously).
The main menu of the system (P1) includes four items:
SETUP:
allows the completion of tasks

CONTROL:
allows the activation of control mode

WORK:
allows the completion of tasks

GRAPH:
allows the completion of tasks

The following five operating sequences show how to activate the four items of the
main menu and how to choose the desired function within each item.
The following pages will describe in detail each task, providing all the necessary
information to correctly perform the tasks themselves.
Preliminary Instructions for the Correct Use of TS5.. Sensors
After the installation of the whole system it's necessary to proceed with the
commissioning of the system itself. The operations to be carried out are the
following:
1) Check all electrical connections.
2) Power on the system and check that all TS5.. devices are turned on.
3) Assign a number to each TS5.. device (DEVICE CONFIG).
4) Perform the OFFSET procedure on all connected devices ( OFFSET
CONFIG ).
5) Check, using the GRAPH BAR function, that all sensors read T=0000, if
necessary repeat the OFFSET procedure.
6) Create the article with the desired control parameters ( NEW ) checking that
the system signals an error.
7) Extend the test to several positions.
