Operation

The following figure shows an example, in case of ENABLE signal programmed
as NO.

The sensor signals a defect (red LED blinking) and activates the STOP output.

The ENABLE signal is activated while The STOP signal is still active.
% The sensor immediately releases the STOP signal, but maintains the defect signalling (red LED
blinking).
& The sensor is re-enabled and, after waiting for a time corresponding to DELAY CONTROL
(green LED blinking), it resumes the normal control (green LED permanently lit).
Electrical Characteristics of ENABLE signal.

To ensure a correct system operation, each TS5.. sensor must have its ENABLE
signal connected to the machine in such a way that the system can distinguish
among the following:
-
a stop due to an operator action
- a stop due to a fault detection
- a machine position running correctly
- a standstill machine position
Interpretation of the signaling lights located on the sensors
Green Led ON Sensor under normal control;
No defects detected by the sensor either in Control on
Monitor mode.
Green LED FLASHING !" Sensor under automatic numbering procedure.
!" Sensor in Delay Control phase
!" Sensor disabled via HW (ENABLE signal) or SW
Red LED FLASHING During the machine operation either in Control or
Monitor mode the sensor detected a failure condition.

Green LED FLASHING
Red LED FLASHING During the machine operation either in Control or
Monitor mode the sensor detected a failure condition.

Red LED ON Sensor locked. Switch off and on the system. If the
condition persists, replace the sensor.
