SMART KNIT

SM-DIN Sensor Connection

As described on chapter 1, the

SMART KNIT

can manage up to 800

IS3

sensors,

connected through SM-DIN interface modules

(up to 8)

. Each module can manage

up to 100 sensors distributed along 4 backbone lines.
The SM-DIN modules communicate with

SMART KNIT

terminal via RS485 serial

line.

Concerning all electrical systems, it is a suggested rule to ensure that the ground cable

(GND)

is connected to the device support.
