Using this guide
Throughout this guide you will find a
description of each feature and how to use it.
The codes shown are the same for both the
Systemphone and an ordinary telephone, unless
otherwise stated.
If you want to use a feature and you are not
sure what to do you may refer to the
instructions given on the following pages, or to
your
Systemphone user guide.
However, if you
have a Systemphone you will find that it is faster
to use the prompt keys (see pages
6 and
7).
Throughout handbook, the Systemphone
prompts
are
shown
this:

Example: you want to set an alarm call
Option 1: follow the instructions given in
this guide:
This feature enables you to set your phone to
ring at a given time.
• Dial the code
(75)
followed by the time in a
24 hour format. For example, enter 7 .30 am
as
0730.
At the programmed time the phone will give
ten rings. If not answered it will ring twice
more at two-minute intervals and will then
cancel. The phone will not ring if Do Not
Disturb is set.
Alarm calls must be set daily.
• To review the alarm, dial the code
(75).
• Dial * to delete the time. Going on hook will
not affect the time set.
NOTE: The ability to review and delete the
time may not be available on your system. If
this is the case, when an alarm call is set,
dialling 75 automatically cancels the alarm call.
Option 2: use the prompt facility as follows:
• Press and release the left hand prompt key
until the display shows Al arm Ca 11 75. As this
is the feature you require, you do not need to
step through the prompts by pressing the
prompt key again.
•Dial
75.
The display shows 75 -:-.

• You may press the prompt key again if you
