To check your outgoing message

Press the

button on the keypad. You will
hear your outgoing message.
To record a new outgoing message

Press

on the keypad. The voice will say,
‘Please speak after the tone. To end recording,
press 9’.

When you have finished recording your new
message, press the
9
button. Your new
outgoing message is played back.
To return to the main menu at any time during
remote operation, press
1
.
To switch your answering machine off

Press the

button on the keypad.

To switch it back on, press the
0
button
again.
When the answering machine is set to off, the
Freestyle 1500 Plus will answer the call after 20
rings and the answering machine will be set on.

When calling in from another telephone, your
Freestyle 1500 Plus allows you about 8 seconds to
take any action before ending your call.
