Operating the answering
machine from another telephone
You can call your Freestyle 1500 Plus from
another phone to listen to your messages and
operate a number of its features.
To switch on the answering machine from
another phone
If you have left your Freestyle 1500 Plus
switched off, simply phone your number and
let it ring 20 times. Your Freestyle 1500 Plus will
then automatically answer the call and stay
switched on.
Please note: when you switch the answering
machine on in this way, it will be in the answer
mode you last set, such as Answer & Record
or Answer Only.

To listen to your messages
When your Freestyle 1500 Plus answers, press
the

button on the phone you are calling from.
The voice says, ‘
Please enter your security code
’.
Press the keypad to enter the one, two or three
digit code you have set (see page 25). If you
make an error, press the
✱
button and re-try.
