Cleaning the lenses
Review
For a correct register sensor function, clean the outer lens of the lenses
when soiled (e.g. dust).
Required aids
Lint free cloth, glass cleaning agent, solvent.
Never exchange the marking of channel K1 and K2 ! The lenses are
marked by coloured rings (K1 = green ring, K2 = red ring).
STOP!
The lens system consists of sensitive, optical components.
Protect the lens surface against scratches!

Perform the following operating steps to clean a lens:
•
Undo the locking screw and remove the sensing head to
be cleaned from its holder.
•
Use the cleaning cloth and glass cleaning agent and/or a
suitable solvent to clean the outer lens.
•
Insert the sensing head into the holder. Observe the mis-
matching protection!
•
Only tighten the locking screw by hand.
The register sensor is operational again.
