6.1.2 Operating area
The minimum amount of space required in the operating area is indicated by the size of the
laboratory furniture. This must allow installation of a PC control computer with monitor and
peripherals. Additional specifications for the space required may result from local guidelines
for organizing the work place, from the number of MR datastations planned and from the
operational procedures and routes planned.
6.1.3 Magnet Area
The minimum amount of space required for the magnet area is determined by the magnet's
dimensions, its stray field, and by the optional use of a Faraday Cage.
