Wireless | MAC ACL
Use the
MAC
ACL
service to control the default access to the wireless interface of the BW1251 or
define special access rules for mobile clients. Configure the ACL using the Wireless | MAC ACL menu:

Radio
– two wireless interfaces wlan1 and wlan2 can be selected for each radio’s MAC ACL rules.
Only AP mode has the MAC ACL service. MAC ACL service.is not available for
Bridge mode.
Policy Setting

button is to choose to Allow, Deny or disable the access control service on
device. By default, the ACL service is disabled and all wireless clients connected to the BW1251 are
allowed (no ACL rules are applied to the wireless clients).
Selecting
Allow
means only the wireless clients whose MAC addresses are listed on the
MAC List
would be permitted to access this AP. Other wireless clients cannot access this AP.
Selecting
Deny
means only the wireless clients whose MAC addresses are listed on the
MAC List
would be prevented from accessing. Other wireless clients can access this AP.
Selecting
Disabled
means no ACL service.
