When you install additional memory (DIMM), follow these steps:

 1.

Turn off the printer power switch, and then unplug the power cord.

Disconnect the interface cable from the printer.

  Note

Be sure to turn off the power to the printer before you install or remove the
DIMM.

 2.

Remove the side cover.
