1.3.7 Check control panel key operation (Function code 13)

< Function >

This function is used to check that keys on the control panel are operating normally.

< Operating Procedure >

(1) For models with touch panel 

Press the [1], and then the [3] in the initial state of maintenance mode. “00” is displayed 
on the LCD.

For models without touch panel

Press the [

▲

] or [

▼

] in the initial state of maintenance mode to display 

“MAINTENANCE 13” on the LCD, and press the [OK]. “00” is displayed on the LCD.

(2) Press the keys on the control panel according to the numbers provided in the figure 

below. Each time the key is pressed, the corresponding figure is displayed on the LCD in 
decimal notation. Check that the number displayed on the LCD matches the number 
assigned to the key that has been pressed. If the keys are pressed in the incorrect order, 
“INVALID OPERATE” is displayed on the LCD.
Press the [X] or [Stop] and try again with the correct key.

(3) When the key operation is normal, the machine returns to the initial state of maintenance 

mode when the last key is pressed. To cancel operation and return to the initial state of 
maintenance mode, press the [X] or [Stop].
