Work in general
WARNING
Risk of injury in the event of improper use!
In the event of improper use, the machine can catch,
push over, roll over, crush or cut operators or third
parties in an uncontrolled manner.
4 Always perform turning manoeuvres when working
uphill, never downhill.
4 Do not drive over any obstacles.
4 Do not perform any turning manoeuvres on loose
crops.
Take the following instructions into consideration when working:
– Always work along contour lines from top to bottom.
– When working along a contour line, the crop will be
continuously transported one working width downhill, the
ball increasing in size all the time. To ensure that you have
an efficient, power-saving working procedure and to avoid
damage to the main engine and the attachment, push down
the crop using an attachment or hay fork when the ball
reaches an appropriate size.
Travel speed
The travel speed should be adapted to the terrain (slope,
unevenness and obstacles).
NOTE
Travelling at a faster speed may have a positive impact
on the flow of forage.
