3.1.1 SMART VENTILATING FAN
Ventilating fan
A ventilating fan is installed inside the radiation shields to reduce the impact of sun heat effect. The fan is
driven by solar panel and will automatically start spinning under 2 conditions:
1. When the sun is shining on the solar panel, and 2. Average wind speed is below 5m/s for 1 minute.
3.1.2 INSTALL BATTERIES
Unscrew the battery door at bottom of unit. Insert the
3xAA batteries (non-rechargeable) according to the +/-
polarity indicated. The red LED indicator on the back of
the Multisensor will turn on, and then begin flashing every
12 seconds.
NOTE:
- Once the batteries installed correctly, the red LED will begin
flashing every 12 seconds.
- We recommend using non-rechargeable Lithium AA batteries
for cold weather climate, but normally Alkaline batteries are
sufficient for use in most weather condition.
