Chapter 8: Installing side hutch options and finishing up.

Using screws from hardware package #13, attach the inner 

portion of the drawer slide (from the previous step) to bottom 

of drawer box, with front of slide pushed against back side of 

drawer front. See Fig. 8D for an illustration. Note: There are 

no pre-drilled holes for these screws.

For the Hutch Top Door or Hutch Bottom Door, assembly is 

identical. Attach door hinge (2 hinges per door) by aligning the 

hinge to the bored holes and push down. Tighten the top and 

bottom screws on the hinge by hand with a screwdriver until 

snug. Next, align the hinge with the front side of the hinge 

plate and push the back side of the hinge into place. You’ll 

hear a snap once the hinge is locked into place. Repeat for opposite hinge and 

attach door handles.

Now that assembly has been completed, we hope that your 
BredaBed will bring you many years of enjoyment! Contact us 
if you ever have any questions.

You may notice that you have extra hardware once assembly has been 

finished. This is normal, we provide extra hardware with each bed model as 

a convenience. Once assembled, you can safely discard this hardware.

The labels/stickers can now be removed from all parts. We 

use EZ peel-off labels for quick and residue free removal.

 

DO NOT remove the warning label on the “Bed Cabinet 

Top Nailer”. 

The parts can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. 

Affix the clear sleeve envelope to the backside of the Bed Face 

Panel and store your instructions there for future use.

Finishing 

Up

We provide 3 adjustable shelves to be positioned at your 

own convenience. Use the shelf pins (4 pins per shelf) from 

hardware package #11 at the desired height and place the 

shelf on top of the flat portion of the shelf pin.

Insert each drawer box into the side hutch, starting at the 

bottom with drawer box A, then B in the middle location. 

The Night Shelf is a flat surface that works the same way the 

drawers do. Attach drawer slides to the Night Shelf then insert 

it at the top drawer location. Lastly, insert drawer box C.
