Chapter 3: Attaching the Bed Cabinet to the wall.

Attach the “

Top Nailer Cover

” using the 1-1/4” screws from 

Hardware Package #10 through the pre-drilled holes in the 

cover piece. One side of the cover has recessed holes which 

is the front and one edge is finished which is the bottom. The 

quantity of screws used will vary depending on bed size. Cover 

screw heads with stickers from Hardware Package #10.

STEP 5

DO NOT REMOVE THE CAUTION TAPE ON THE TOP 

NAILER. THIS TAPE CONTAINS IMPORTANT SAFETY 

INFORMATION FOR DISASSEMBLY.

Our mechanism 

utilizes steel 

L-Brackets to hold 

the bottom of the 

bed & mechanism 

to the wall & 

baseboard. 

Fully tighten and attach the Baseboard 

Brackets to each of the mechanisms. 

The left is marked “LH” and the right is 

marked “RH”. Make sure the bottom of 

the bed and brackets are both pushed 

flat against the wall and baseboard. The 

slots on the back of the bracket are for 

16” deep Murphy Beds and the slots 

of the front are for 21” (wardrobe) deep Murphy Beds. Attach with (qty 2) 20mm Hex 

head bolts and (qty 2) Lock Washers found in Hardware Package #2 using the bottom 

threaded hole and one of the top holes along the slot.

Do not attach the bracket to the wall at this time. They will attach after adjustment.
