Chapter 8: Installing side hutch options and finishing up.

Chapter 8:

Installing side hutch
options and finishing up.

REQUIRED TOOLS

• Rubber Mallet

• Cordless Drill with #2 Phillips

• #2 Phillips screwdriver

Follow the steps in this
chapter depending on how the
Side Hutch was configured.

• Attach

“Drawer Side”

pieces to

“Drawer Front”

with the

slotted portion on all 3 pieces aligned and tighten cam fittings.

• Slide

“Drawer Bottom”

into the slotted portion of the

drawer.

• Finally, attach

“Drawer Back”

and tighten cam fittings.

• Repeat steps with all drawer parts.

Referring to Fig. 8A, insert cam screws from hardware package

#1 in holes marked with a

red

circle using a cordless drill.

Insert white cam fittings from hardware package #19 in holes

marked with a

green

circle using a rubber mallet.

Detach each drawer slide into two parts. First, pull out the drawer

slide and locate the plastic release lever on the back side. Pushing

up or down on the lever will allow the inner slide to pull out all the

way.
