Close the lid and set the timer dial for
the desired frying time.
NOTE:
It is normal for steam to escape
through the sides of the lid while
frying.
WARNING:
Avoid standing too close
to the deep fryer while it is cooking.
3
Use the viewing window to monitor
your food. When the food is ready,
step away from the unit before
opening the lid in order to allow hot
steam to escape.
4
Lift the basket out of the oil and hook
it on the edge of the oil reservoir to
allow the food to drain for a minute.
5
Remove the food from the basket
either with tongs or by pouring the
food into a serving container or onto a
plate covered with paper towels.
6
Repeat procedure for remaining food.
7
When you have finished using
your deep fryer, turn the timer dial
counterclockwise all the way to turn
the unit off.
8
Unplug the fryer from the wall outlet
and allow to cool for approximately 2
hours before attempting to remove the
oil or clean the fryer.
WARNING:
Never use the break-away
safety cord to turn the deep fryer off.
WARNING:
If the cord becomes
disconnected from the unit during
operation,
immediately unplug
the power cord
by the plug from
the electrical wall outlet before any
attempt to reconnect the magnetic
cord to the deep fryer unit.
WARNING:
Never use your deep fryer
to boil water.
STORING OR REUSING COOKING OIL
NOTE:
The oil does not need to be
changed after each use and can be
used until it gets dark or there are bits
of food in it such as batter or bread
crumbs.
NOTE:
It is not recommended to store
or reuse oil that was used to fry food
with protein, such as poultry, meat
and fish. When oil is used mainly to
fry potatoes and is filtered after each
use it can be used 8 to 10 times but
DO NOT
use the same oil for more
than 6 months.
IMPORTANT:
Always replace the oil
as soon as it starts foaming when
heated or when color becomes dark,
when it has a rancid smell or taste, or
becomes syrupy.
1
Make sure the fryer is turned off,
unplugged and has cooled for
approximately 2 hours before
attempting to store oil.
2
Remove the pop-up lid and frying
basket.
3
Using a funnel, pour the oil from the
back corner of the reservoir through
a paper filter or wire strainer into a
storage container.
IMPORTANT:
The oil reservoir is not
removable from the deep fryer.
4
To reuse this oil, pour back into the oil
reservoir.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT
mix different
oils or new and old oil together.
