3.2 FL-Motor-2

FlyLink

Sensor Module

3.2.1 Device overview

Switch-on:

The device is

automatically

switched-on

by an internal motion sensor.

Switch-off:

The device is

automatically switched-off

, when for 30 minutes no RPM signal was received,

or when the flight instrument was turned-off.

FlyLink LED

Off = no connection to flight instrument
Green flashing 2“ = connected without RPM signal
Green flashing 4“ = connected with RPM signal

Remark:

if no connection to flight instrument is available,

the following notice is displayed on the flight instrument:

Battery Status LED

(flashing at the rhythm of Flylink LED)

Green = good
Yellow = battery should be replaced soon
Red = battery not sufficient for correct operation

The battery capacity of 2 AA Alkaline batteries is sufficient for more than 200 flying hours!

Remark:

at low battery capacity the following message

is shortly displayed on the flight instrument every
30 seconds:
