With the brake pedal (1) depressed firmly, pull the parking brake lever (2) to engage the gear tooth with the 
fixing plate of the brake pedal.

As the brake pedal is operated, the brake rod (3), which is connected to the brake shaft and brake pedal, is 
pulled to activate the brake lever (4) in order to apply braking force for the left/right brakes.
