Ad just the DIS CRIM I NATE con trol high er to
increase  the  range  of  the  low  tone.  It  is
pos si ble to set the DIS CRIM I NATE level so
that  nick els  have  a  low  tone,  larg er  coins
have a high tone, and pull-tabs have a low
tone  or    in-be tween  “bro ken”  tone.  The
"broken" tone makes pull-tabs and trash easily recognizable.

Sensitivity  will  be  re duced  slightly  when
using  the  Snooper  2  in  the  Tone
Discrimination  mode.  If  you  want  optimal
depth  capability,  operate  in  the  All  Metal
mode  by  turning  the  Discriminate  con trol
completely counterclockwise; then turn the
Sen si tiv i ty  control  clock wise  to  its  highest
clockwise  position  without  chatter.  If  your
Snooper  2  chatters  or  beeps  erratically,
reduce  the  Sensitivity  by  turning  the  left
knob coun ter clock wise.
