Problems, solutions and tips

Here are some possible problems, together with their solutions, and a few tips.

Should you have any problems with the dispenser, achieving the correct pressu-

re, assembly, or tapping, please check here first to see whether we have provi-

ded a solution before contacting us.

If the solution is not here, our support team will be happy to assist you. You will

find contact details at:

bottomsupbier.de

The tapper will not go through the valve on the top of the keg. First check

whether the valve on the keg is compatible with the Beer Buddy. You will

find this under ‘Valves’.

If you have the correct valve on the keg, but cannot get the tapper into the

keg, make sure you have removed the cap to open the valve.

If you have done that, and you are still unable to insert the tapper through

the valve by exerting pressure from above, push the valve’s stopper into the

keg with the help of a hard, thin object such as a screwdriver. Beer will leak

out during this operation, so put the keg in a container or perform this step

outside.

You have inserted a screw-fit 16g gas cartridge, but the pressure regulator

does not respond. First, open the pressure regulator to the stop.
