PROFIBUS DP communication parameters (device master data file) for
the ID 200/C-PDP
The device master data file name for the ID 200/C-PDP communication module
with PROFIBUS DP interface is: “RXL_0136.gsd”
The following data field sizes (modules) are pre-defined in the device master data
file:
Read/write access:
“In / Out 4 Words” transmits 1 double word Input and output
(32 bit)
user data
“In / Out 6 Words” transmits 2 double words “
“In / Out 8 Words” transmits 3 double words “
“In / Out 10 Words” transmits 4 double words “
“In / Out 12 Words” transmits 5 double words “
“In / Out 14 Words” transmits 6 double words “
“In / Out 16 Words” transmits 7 double words “
“In / Out 32 Words” transmits 15 double words “
Read access only:
“4 In / 2 Out Words” transmits 1 double word input user data
(32 bit)
“6 In / 2 Out Words” transmits 2 double words “
“8 In / 2 Out Words” transmits 3 double words “
“10 In / 2 Out Words”
transmits
4 double words
“
“12 In / 2 Out Words”
transmits
5 double words
“

Select a module from the pre-defined modules. When selecting a module, ensure
that the data field size is adequate for the write/read commands used depending on
the “Number of words” parameter.
The “Data Hold Time” and “Diagnosis interrupt” are saved in the device master
data file. These values can be changed via the PROFIBUS slave properties.
The Data Hold Time is the time after which the identification system can overwrite
the input data field. This time must be selected so that it is larger than the cycle time
of the control. If two data carriers are read immediately one after the other, the code
of the data carrier read first remains in the input data field for the set time. After this
time, the code of the second data carrier is entered.
The diagnosis interrupt defines whether an interrupt is triggered via PROFIBUS if a
new diagnostic message occurs. The diagnosis interrupt can be switched on and off.
