Measures

WARNING

Do not carry out any maintenance measures, while the machine is run‐
ning.
●
This work must be carried out only by skilled personnel.
●
During maintenance work, secure the system against restarting and
unauthorized use.
●
Do not work on hot surfaces.
●
Protect open supply cables and connections against penetration of pol‐
lution.
Bosch Rexroth recommends the following maintenance measures, based on
the maintenance plan of the machine manufacturer:

Check the mechanical and electrical con‐
nections.
According to the guidelines in the machine
maintenance plan, but at least every 1,000
operating hours.
Check the gearbox-motor unit for smooth
running, vibrations and bearing noises.
According to the guidelines in the machine
maintenance plan, but at least every 1,000
operating hours.
Remove dust, chips and other dirt from the
gearbox-motor housing, cooling fins and
the connections.
Depending on the degree of soiling, but
after 6 month operation at the latest. Do it
monthly at strong pollution.

Excess Temperature of Gearbox Housing
Status
The housing temperature of the gearbox climbs to unusually high values.
Possible Causes
1.
The original operating cycle has been changed.
2.
Original drive parameters have been changed.
