5.3.2 Trigger adjustment: engine or ignition synchronizing
F1:
Change-over of the trigger source between synchrosignal
with reference to the input signal and synchronized with
the engine with reference to the ignition impulses.
F2/3:
Selection of the corresponding cylinder according to the
firing sequence where the triggering should occur.
Remarks:
A primary or secondary signal (over 4 kV) is required for triggering
in synch with the engine. If these signals are not present, pulse
shaper 1 687 224 827 must be used for triggering.
5.4
Picture adjustment in ignition oscilloscope, grid
oscilloscope (raster) and multi-oscilloscope modes
5.4.1 X deflection, Y amplification, picture position (picture
displacement)
Example: ignition oscilloscope
F1/2:
Adjustment of the Y amplification (change-over of the
measuring range)
Measuring ranges:
- secondary side:
50 kV, 25 kV, 10 kV, 5 kV
- primary side:
500 V, 250 V, 100 V, 20 V
- red clamp (B+):
40 V, 20 V, 10 V, 2.5 V
- red multi-clip:
40 V, 20 V, 10 V, 2.5 V
- current clamp-on
pickup 1000 A:
1,000 A, 500 A, 200 A, 50 A
- current clamp-on
pickup 20 A:
20 A, 10 A, 5 A, 2,5 A
- current measuring
shunt:
500 mA, 250 mA, 100 mA, 50 mA
Remarks:
All oscilloscope measurements are taken to the black terminal B-
(engine ground).
F3/4:
Modification of the picture position (Y position). Dis-
placement of the picture (zero line) in 10 % increments upwards
and downwards.
F5/6:
Adjustment of the X deflection (time axis) for time
measurements possible according to the check program:
