Intended use
This tool is intended for the fastening
and loosening of bolts, nuts and various
threaded fasteners.
Variable speed controlled trigger
switch
Your tool is equipped with a variable
speed trigger switch. The tool can be
turned "ON" or "OFF" by squeezing or
releasing the trigger. The speed can be
adjusted from the minimum to maximum
nameplate RPM by the pressure you
a p p l y t o t h e t r i g g e r . A p p l y m o r e
p r e s s u r e t o i n c r e a s e t h e s p e e d a n d
release pressure to decrease speed
(Fig. ß1).
Preselecting the speed/impact
rate
Maximum speed can be restricted by
selecting a predefined speed setting of 1
or 2. In each speed range, the variable
speed trigger will still control from 0 rpm
up to the restricted max speed. (See
table on page 9 for more information.)
With the button

you can preselect
the required speed/impact rate in three
stages. Press the button

repeatedly
until the desired setting appears in the
speed indicator

. The selected setting
will be saved.
The required speed/impact rate depends
o n t h e m a t e r i a l a n d t h e w o r k i n g
c o n d i t i o n s , a n d c a n b e d e t e r m i n e d
through practical testing.
Brake
When the trigger switch is released it
activates the brake to stop the chuck
quickly. This is especially useful in the
repetitive driving and removal of screws.

located above the trigger (Fig. 10). This
lever was designed for changing rotation
of the bit, and for locking the trigger in
an “OFF” position.
To lock the trigger, move the lever to the
center.
F o r f o r w a r d r o t a t i o n , ( w i t h c h u c k
pointed away from you) move the lever
to the far left.
For reverse rotation move the lever to
the far right. To activate trigger lock
move lever to the center off position.

Shifting during rotation of the chuck can
cause damage to the tool.
