Active Fuel Injector Tester User Guide
The Fuel Management Unit (FMU)
The FMU handles fuel and pressure measurement. The power LED indicates when it is receiving
power from the MCU.
•
Hanger
—use to hang the unit from the hood of the vehicle to allow for proper fuel flow
through the FMU.
•
Drain Hose
—use to capture drained fuel. Make sure to use a container approved for
collecting fuel.
•
Interconnect Cable
—connect to the MCU to provide power to the FMU and to send and
receive test signals.
•
Sight Glass with Replaceable Filter
—use to visually monitor the fuel flow and to
examine the fuel for contamination.
•
Fuel Access Hose (FAH)
—use to connect the FMU directly to the vehicle’s fuel test port.
