9. Communication Port

9.1 RS232&USB Interface

RS232&USB interface is for the monitoring software and firmware

update. Only one option can be used at any given time on an

individual product
1) The following is the pin assignment and description of DB-9

connector.

2) The USB port is compliant with USB 1.1 protocol for its

communication software.

9.2 Intelligent slot

This  series  is  equipped  with  two  intelligent  slots  for  Webpower
(optional  accessory)  or  other  optional  cards  to  achieve  remote
management  of  the  UPS  through  the  internet  /  intranet.  Please
contact your local distributor for further information.

9.3 AS400 Interface (Option)

Except  for  the  communication  protocol  as  mentioned  above,  this
series UPS has an AS400 card (an optional accessory) for the AS400
communication  protocol.  Please  contact  your  local  distributor  for
details.  The  following  is  the  pin  assignment  and  description  of  the
DB-9 connector in the AS400 card.
