     GasFinderAB Operation Manual — Pre Installation 

       June 17th 2017

Section 2. Pre Installation Checks

Tools and Equipment

The hand tools found in a hangar are all that are needed for installation. No special equipment 
is required. Installation on a Bell 206 normally takes 1 hour (15 minutes on a Robinson R44)  
unless specifi c requirements are necessary. The fi rst installation on a Bell 206 will take longer 
(4hrs) due to the necessity for drilling a mounting hole in the cell.

Equipment Check

Verify that all the equipment on the order sheet has arrived complete and in good condition. 
Any damage due to shipping should be reported immediately and steps taken to obtain 
replacement parts.

Installation - External

On a Bell 206 the cell is mounted under the fuselage on the brackets(supplied) which 

• 

attach to the 4 screws under the rear doors. Before the fi rst installation, a hole for the 
mounting the eyebolt must be drilled.
