For more information, consult the documentation of the WLAN
router or similar device on board.
The Ethernet cable
’s maximum length can be 100 m.
To establish a connection with AHD-WNL using a client, the user
must enter AHD-WNL
’s IP address when logging on. When deliv-
ered, AHD-WNL uses the following configurable settings for LAN2:
IP address 192.168.1.200, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, standard
gateway: none.
The procedure for configuring the board network cannot be de-
scribed here.
7.8 Power Supply
CAUTION!
Equipment damage from incorrect voltage!
Connecting the device to an incorrect supply volt-
age can lead to equipment damage.
Therefore:
– Consult all relevant project documents and op-
eration manuals of the devices used and verify
the correct supply voltage and polarity before
connecting the devices.
Establish AHD-WNL
’s power supply.
Generally, AHD-WNL is delivered with IGN and + bridged. If
AHD-WNL is to be powered on and off with a separate switch, a
suitable switch must be installed in place of the bridge (see Chap-
ter 4.4.3).
If an additional AHD-DPU 9 is used, establish its power supply with
its terminals 1 (+) and 2 (-) and use terminal 3 to ground the unit.
7.9 Power On
CAUTION
!
Ground first, then power on!
Before powering on, ground all devices with their
provided earth bolts and grounding terminals, if
present.
For more detailed information,
consult the devices’
operation manuals.
AHD-WNL and other devices are generally powered on by switch-
ing on their power supplies.
