3.0 ASSEMBLY
Make sure that all parts have been assembled correctly before starting to work.
3.1 Models with rigid shaft

Rod-engine
: (Fig. 3). After orienting the rod, connect it to the engine
by inserting it in the hole in the clutch case. At this point, lock the rod
in place in such way that it cannot be removed from the engine and
screw down the two screws in the jaws.
Handle bar
: (Fig. 4). Take the two A and B handlebar halves and
place them on the support C as shown in the drawing (the gas handle
on the right hand side). Place the lid on handle bars and in
correspondence of the holes on support C and secure with the four
screws M5x25 supplied. Before fixing the handle-bar in place, make
sure it is fastened so that your arms and wrists are flexed slightly in
normal work position. If you work in such way that only your wrists
are flexed and your arms are straight, the force required may be
excessive, especially on your right hand, which is under constant strain
by the need to continuously work the accelerator trigger.
Grip:
(Fig. 5). Position the grip E in the cross F by keeping the longer
part facing left (this serves as a protective barrier during operation that
prevents involuntary contact of your body with the cutting accessory).
Before definitively tightening the fixing screws, adjust it in a position
that permits the ergonomic use of the machine. Then definitively
screw down the fixing screws.

3.2 Models with flexible shaft

Flexible shaft-engine
: Connect the flexible shaft to the engine by
inserting the end sleeve in the clutch case until this sleeve cannot go
in any further. Then lock it in place so that it cannot be removed from
the engine by screwing down the two fixing screws on the jaws.
Rod-flexible shaft
: (Fig. 6). Connect the ends of the rod and the
flexible shaft together using the quick coupling.
