Instruction Manual
In the section entitled “Stream Input” under the green header, the following parameters about each source IP stream are
displayed:
Stream: indicates the method of encapsulation used, i.e UDP (User Datagram Protocol) or RTP (Real-Time Transport
Protocol), the IP address, and port number (see Section 6.2.1 for details).
Name: indicates the name of the stream (see Section 6.2.1 for details).
IP: indicates the status of the source IP stream as follows:
Green = input IP is streaming
Red = input IP is not streaming
Bitrate: indicates the average and maximum bitrate of the IP stream in Megabits per second (Mbps).
In the section entitled “QAM Output” under the blue header, the following parameters are displayed:
RF Channel: indicates (i) the RF channel number of the QAM output, and (ii) whether the output QAM is on or off.

When the unit is operating in SPTS mode, ensure the sum of the Bitrates of the IP streams assigned
to a QAM RF channel (eg: Ch. 50-1, 50-2, 50-3, & 50-4) does not exceed 38.8Mbps to avoid pixelation
issues.
When the unit is operating in MPTS mode, ensure the Bitrate of the IP stream assigned to a QAM RF
channel (eg: Ch.51) does not exceed 38.8 Mbps to avoid pixelation issues.
When operating in SPTS Mode, up to 32 rows of input streams will be displayed under the "Stream
Input".
When operating in MPTS Mode, up to 8 rows of input streams will be displayed under the "Stream
Input".
