Change password
This is where you can change the password (the factory default
setting is 0000).
The device asks you to enter the password if, for instance, you
want to play DVDs that have been protected by the Parental Con-
trol function.

Use the

keys to select the ID Code sub-menu, and
press the ENTER key.

The “OLD CODE” option for the old password is highlight-
ed.

To change the password, you must first enter the old
password into the “OLD CODE” field.

You then enter the new password into the “NEW CODE”
field, and repeat it in the “RE-CODE” field.
Image management
The Chicago IVDM-7002 allows you to display different back-
ground images. You can also load your own pictures into the de-
vice from a CD ROM and choose these for the background. You
can also choose to have the same image displayed always, or for
the stored images to be displayed in an automatic cycle.
