Setting the speech output for navigation mode
The speech output signal from the TravelPilot enters the device
through the AUX 3 audio input. The AUX 3 input is activated au-
tomatically when a spoken announcement is made.
Note: The AUX 3 input must be activated in the setup
menu. Please read the section “Select an External Sig-
nal Source” in the chapter on the “Setup Menu”.
Proceed as follows to adjust the volume:
1.
Press the SRC key to change to the AUX 3 input.
2.
Set the volume that you want using the VOL

keys on
the Chicago IVDM-7002.
Note: If the range of adjustment is not enough you
can also increase the volume of the TravelPilot itself.
Read the TravelPilot’s operating instructions.
3.
Leave the AUX 3 source by pressing the SRC key.
